We are pleased to announce the the Educator Preparation Program has chosen Tevera as our new student and program data management system! We are excited about the innovations available on this platform.
Tevera features a one-time, lifetime subscription for its users. This will be much more cost effective over the students' four year program and the software will be indefinitely available for use by program completers. Students will receive an emailed invitation to register from Tevera, and be prompted for purchasing the subscription.
- Purchase the lifetime subscription of Tevera from the Tevera website using a credit of debit card - the base price of $215 plus your state sales tax and any transaction fee charged by your card. Use your emailed invitation email to connect to Tevera. If you need a new invitation, contact Cheryl Torline who can resend it as a link.
- All admitted teacher candidates and education students in EDU courses 200 level and above with field work must have a Tevera subscription. Students without the subscription are unable to use the software to request a field placement and other assignments and evaluations cannot be completed if a student does not have an active subscription.
*NOTE: Non-EDU students enrolled in EDU 221 for the writing credit or as an elective my request a waiver of the Tevera requirement by emailing Student Services torline@hanover.edu - All Decision Points are completed in Tevera including Decision Pt 1 (application/admission to the program), Decision Point 2 (approval for a student teaching assignment), and Decision Point 3 (program completion for licensure)
All admitted students will have the cost of Tevera included in their financial aid "cost of attendance" calculations for the 2023-2024 year. In future years, new education students will pay for Tevera in our introductory course (EDU 221). This year ALL education students will need to purchase the subscription.
Students with financial aid remaining in their student account may request a refund of the amount needed for the Tevera purchase, as well as other requirements of the EPP like background checks, NEA membership, and Praxis entrance exams.
Any student who is unable to pay for this subscription, may contact Rev. Catherine Knott (knott@hanover,edu) to request a zero interest loan from the Panther Emergency Fund. This request is confidential. THE LOAN IS INTEREST FREE AND HAS FLEXIBLE REPAYMENT TERMS.
