Tevera is becoming Lumivero ELC!
On May 1, 2025 the Educator Preparation Program received notice that Tevera, our assessment and data software program had been acquired by Lumivero and the name would be changing effective May 30, 2025 to Lumivero Experiential Learning Cloud (formerly Tevera). All Tevera users will receive an email message on May 20, 2025 to notify them of this change as well. Please know that our offices have been working with Lumivero and that this email message is legitimate. We are assured that there is nothing our Tevera users have to do - the same log in creditials will continue and most changes will be seamless from the user standpoint other than some visual enhancements that are planned to accentuate the Lumivero branding. Student subscriptions continue to be valid.
Like Tevera, Lumivero Experiential Learning Cloud (ELC for short) features a one-time purchase of a lifetime subscription for its users. This will typically take place for our entry level course, EDU 221 - Education and the American Culture and is needed for applying for admission to the Educator Preparation Program (Decision Point 1).
- All three Decision Points are completed in Lumivero including Decision Pt 1 (application/admission to the program), Decision Point 2 (approval for a student teaching assignment), and Decision Point 3 (program completion for licensure.=).
- Students enrolled in EDU 221 will be added to the Lumivero ELC database and receive an invitation from ELC to purchase the lifetime subscription using a credit of debit card - the base price is $215 plus your state sales tax and any transaction fees possibly charged by your bank. After the initial account creation it is advised to create a bookmark or shortcut in your browser to the new URL hanover.lumivero-elc.app (note: the old URL of hanover.tevera.app will redirect to the new URL for a period of time).
*NOTE: Non-EDU students enrolled in EDU 221 for the writing credit or as an elective my request a waiver for Lumivero ELC by emailing the Education Student Services Coordinator - Students will see their ELC assignments under the ASSIGNMENTS box on their Dashboard sorted by the course they are enrolled in. If an assignment in is Lumivero ELV/Tevera it as a REQUIRED assignment and must show COMPLETED next to every assignment.
- Lumivero, like Tevera, is very student-driven. Students must assign their rubrics to their mentor or evaluator in the software and after the evaluator completes the rubric or evaluation, the student must sign off. In most cases, the course instructor also signs the rubric and the assignment will have a green COMPLETED box next to it.
Students with financial aid remaining in their student account may request a refund of the amount needed for the Tevera purchase, as well as other requirements of the EPP like background checks, NEA membership, and Praxis entrance exams.
Any student who is unable to pay for this subscription, may contact the Hanover College Chaplain, Catherine Knott (knott@hanover.edu) to apply for a loan from the Panther Emergency Fund. This request is confidential. THE LOAN IS INTEREST FREE AND HAS FLEXIBLE REPAYMENT TERMS.
