Candidates are admitted by formal letter of acceptance from the Teacher Education Committee (TEC) and are assigned an Education Department advisor (Secondary Education candidates are also assigned an advisor in their content area). Frequent communication with your advisors is strongly recommended. Candidates must progress through a series of decision points as they move through the program, as outlined below. Only admitted candidates may declare Education Majors and able to enroll in 300 level courses and to proceed to Decision Point 2.
